Rep. Michelle Bachman: Today’s “Tina Fey” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Michelle. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-one (21) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of seven (7) opinion pieces. I’m sure we all fondly remember Michelle’s repeated comedic rants about Obamacare and her assurance that if elected President the first thing she would have done was to repeal it.
In describing her contempt for Obamacare, Michelle described it as “the crown jewel of socialism” and claimed it amounted to “gangster government.” Michelle also made it known that countries that mandated health care for all if its citizens were all de facto communist states such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Canada, et al.
We now learn (ca. May 8, 2012) that Michelle the Comic and her entire family have applied to become citizens of Switzerland. Her husband has been a dual-citizen of Switzerland and the U.S. before they married in 1979.
During a recent interview with a Swiss television station, Michelle said “it’s tough to find a place not to like in Switzerland.” I wonder if Michelle was speaking to the new Swiss law that went into effect on Jan 2, 2012 that allows for “each member of a family” to legally grow “four (4) cannabis plants.” Because Michelle has five (5) children, this means that the family of 7 could legally grow 28 cannabis (marijuana) plants when they move to Switzerland. Talk about an incentive to get the hell out-of-town! You go Girl!!
Switzerland is another socialist country that has universal health care and mandates that all of its citizens purchase coverage.
It appears that once the Swiss government grants Michelle the Comic’s application for citizenship, she’ll be required to purchase health insurance for her, her husband and their children.
As a citizen of Switzerland, Michelle could run for political office. This would afford the Swiss to become witness to Michelle’s never ending comedy routines. Of course Switzerland’s win would be our loss!
Congrats Michelle; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s finest standup Comedians; you are far too humble.
