Solicitor Yu Almena of Hong Kong; convicted thief

The Law Society of Hong Kong presented Yu Chun Lee Almena with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of Hong Kong School of Law. He also received a license to practice law in England and Wales in 1997, New South Wales in 1984 and Singapore in 1995.

The Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Yu guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Conduct unbecoming a solicitor
• Compromised her integrity (what integrity)
• Convicted of one count of theft
• Stole cash in the amount of HK$900, which was left at an automatic teller machine of a bank after it had been withdrawn by another person

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Yu by gifting her with a complimentary censure and a fine of HK$900.00 ($19,162.00 US).
