Barrister Charles Waterstreet of New South Wales; ethical troll

The Law Society presented Charles Christian Waterstreet with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Dalhousie University School of Law.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative found Charlie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct
  • Made a number of factual assertions for which there were no proper basis in the evidence at trial
  • Improperly, irrelevantly and offensively referred to the nationalities of two witnesses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Charlie practices his brand of law at 233 Castlereagh Street in Sydney, New South Wales.
