Attorney Lane Wolfley of Port Angeles, WA; ethical ogre

The state of Washington presented Lane J. Wolfley with a law license in 1979 after he graduated Gonzaga University School of Law.
The Washington State Bar found Lane guilty of the following misconduct.
-
Engaged in sexual relations with a client [gives new meaning to screwing a client]
-
Provided false and misleading information to ethics investigators(Screw you, said Lane!)
-
Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, deceit, fraud, or misrepresentation
-
Improperly advanced or guaranteed financial assistance to a client in connection with contemplated or pending litigation
-
Falsely testified during disciplinary proceedings that he had not kissed or had other intimate physical contact with his client
-
A videotape taken while Lane visiting the client’s home was provided to the ethics investigators that contradicted Lane’s testimony about his contacts with his client
-
Lane’s sexual advances toward his client included him kissing her, fondling her, and intentionally touching her clothed sexual/intimate parts
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Lane by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2020), Lane practices his brand of law at 713 East 1st Street in Port Angeles, Washington.
