Attorney Joshua Mathews of Leawood, KS; lying scammer

The state of Kansas presented Joshua T. Mathews with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Josh guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Josh!)
  • Failed to satisfy CLE (Continuing Legal Education) requirements as mandated to do
  • Falsely claimed that he had completed 400 minutes of CLE training when in fact he had failed to so act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Josh by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Josh failed to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.mathewsgrouponline.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Josh practices at 11111 Nall Avenue in Leawood, Kansas.
