The Law Society of Singapore presented Ong Pang Meng with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the National University of Singapore School of Law.
The Singapore Disciplinary Tribunal found Ong guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Failed to transfer settlement sum of $20,000 into client account

Failed to maintain a reasonable level of communication with his client

Failed to provide a statement of account to his client for a sum of $5,000, being client’s money, which he retained for a lengthy period despite his client’s requests for a statement of account or return

Without authority, instructions and/or consent, accepted a counterproposal of $6,000 offered by the Plaintiff in respect of a matter in which his client was the Defendant

Failed to explain in a clear manner the counterproposal of $6,000 offered by the Plaintiff in respect a matter in which his client was the Defendant
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Three Judges of the Republic of Singapore punished Yeo by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. February 2021), Ong practices with the CK Tan Law Corporation at 50 Armenian Street in Singapore.
