Solicitor Michael Donovan of New South Wales, AUS; ethical gnome

The Victoria Law Society presented Michael Stephen Donovan with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of New South Wales School of Law.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with a direction as to release of trust funds
• Improperly exercising a lien over trust funds
• Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Administrative Council punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
