Attorney Michael Carroll of Tacoma, WA; ethical elf

The state of Washington presented Michael Earl Carroll with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest regarding client representation
• Acted in negligent manner in failing to appreciate conflict of interest
• Represented a client with interests materially adverse to those of a prospective client in the same or substantially related matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Mikey practices his brand of law with Michael Carroll AWC in Tacoma, Washington.
