Mike Huckabee: Today’s “Jimmy Swaggart Wannabee” Award Winner

During a recent (ca. September 2020), episode of the weekly show on the Trinity Broadcasting Comedy Network, Mikey decided to spew forth a few more of his usual lies regarding the Christian vote in the upcoming November 2020 presidential election.

Towards that end and only after spraying a thick coat of “Industrial Strength Booty Fresh” for the protection of everyone within ear shot, Mikey made the following statements.

• “So, there are many fundamental issues today that really matter more than they’ve ever mattered before because you’ve never had the policies that are directing these two parties, two candidates, that are so divergent.”
• “And if Christians sit this one out, and then one day they say, ‘Hey, how come my gifts to the church are not tax-exempt?’”
• “Hey, how come the church is being taxed and we’re now going to have to pay property tax on the church?”
• “And we can’t afford that, so we’re going to go out of business.”
• “How many things like that start happening?”
• “And people will say, ‘Well, this is not right.’ And I’m going to say to them, ‘Yeah, and you didn’t vote. That’s why it happened.’”

So, here we have a so-called preacher of the Gospel falsely proclaiming that Joe Biden supports eliminating the tax status of churches and that if he’s elected churches will “go out of business.”

Mikey’s comment about churches “going out of business” at least admits and recognizes that religion is in fact a business and a highly profitable one for Jimmy Swaggart Wannabees like Mikey, Rev. Jerry “The Pervert” Falwell Jr., and convicted felon Rev. Jim Bakker.
