Attorney Efthemois Velahos of Woodbury, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented Efthemois D. Velahos with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School. 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Efthemois guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain liability insurance while practicing as a limited liability company
• Illegally practiced law in a jurisdiction where doing so violated the regulation of the legal profession in that jurisdiction
• Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on his honesty and trustworthiness

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Efthemois by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. September 2021) Efthemois practices in Woodbury, New Jersey.
