Attorney Andrew Maloney of Brentwood, TN; ethical gnome

 

The state of Tennessee provided presented Andrew Harrison Maloney with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Improper use of escrow funds for his personal and business use
  • Failed to timely disburse funds owing to third parties
  • Failed to escheat certain funds to the State of Tennessee as required

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 10-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. September 2020) Andy practices at 5120 Virginia Way in Brentwood, Tennessee.
