Judge Richard Brueggemann of Frankfurt, KY; Certified Buffoon

The state of Kentucky presented Richard A. Brueggemann with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Northern Kentucky University School of Law.

In an effort to further establish his credentials as a dyed-in-the-wool Trump Sycophant and a Monumental Buffoon (my sincerest apologies to Buffoons), Dick decided to issue an egregiously ignorant order that declared COVID-19 orders issued by Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear were unconstitutional.

In a laughable 38-page order, Dick the Buffoon made the following statements.

  • "Under our constitutions, government may not uproot liberty on a hope that it can hide society from pathogens." "Individuals, not government, should decide if the risk of walking out their front door is worth the potential reward."
  • “With freedom comes risk like the risk and sacrifice of soldiers at Valley Forge in the Revolutionary War that bequeathed to us our freedom."
  • “Many died alone, with the dirt of the battlefield drinking in their blood."

What in the hell does the death that took place during the Civil War have to do with a pandemic that has killed over 150,000 Americans and will likely kill another 150,00,000 or 200,000 before the end of 2020?

Hey Dicky Baby, if individuals and not the government should decide the risks someone wishes to take, then why haven’t you ruled that the following government actions unconstitutional?

  • Forcing everyone that wishes to drive in Kentucky to obtain a driver’s license
  • Making in illegal to marry or have sex with your first cousin
  • A birth certificate must be filed with local registrar within ten (10) days after said birth
  • Law mandating that every student have a current Commonwealth of Kentucky Immunization Certificate to attend school
  • Law requiring all Kentucky drivers to carry car insurance

And lastly, I’m hopeful that one of The Great Leader’s Designate Lackeys has taken affirmative action to reimburse Dick for the costs he incurred in purchasing a tube of Industrial Strength Chapstick.

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Dick continues to sit as a Circuit Court judge in Frankfurt, Kentucky.
