Attorney Larry Schuster of Billings, MT; perjuring loser

The state of Montana presented Larry G. Schuster with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Larry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Falsely claimed to be owner of a townhouse when suing Northwestern Energy Company (NEC) in Yellowstone County for damages to the townhouse due to flooding
• In his sham lawsuit against NEC he claimed over $100,000 in damages to the townhouse itself and $40,000 in damages to his personal property
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Found in contempt of court for failing to comply with a sanctions order
• Advanced non-meritorious (BS) claims when he sought damages for real property he did not own and for personal property that was undamaged
• Gave false deposition testimony [perjury]
• Failed to comply with court orders compelling production of documents supporting his fraudulent damage claims
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

And lastly, because Attorney Misfits in Montana are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Larry was never criminally charged with perjury.
