Attorney Frank Wall of Portland, OR; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Oregon provided Frank Wall with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.

The Oregon State Bar Association found Frankie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Frankie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to respond to client information inquiries
• Failed to keep client informed of stat us of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Frankie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to prepare client file
• Failed to take any action on client matter
• Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Acted knowingly when he failed to respond to client attempts to communicate with him
• Conduct resulted in actual injury to a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.  

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Frankie.
