Attorney Mary Dobbie of DC; ethical goblin

The District of Columbia presented Mary C. Dobbie with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The DC Bar Counsel found Mary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Failed to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with a legally proper discovery request by an opposing party in pretrial procedure

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Mary practices her brand of law at 175 N Street NE in Washington, DC.
