Attorney Larry Klayman of DC; ethical troll, repeat offender

The District of Columbia presented Larry Klayman with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Emory University School of Law.

FYI: This isn’t Larry’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously sanctioned in Florida for failing to pay $5,000.00 court ordered sanction. He is also the subject of two additional articles, all of which can be found by visiting the DC section of Attorney Misfits.

The DC Bar Counsel found Latif guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest based on his representation of three clients
• Flagrantly violated Rules of Professional Conduct regarding a conflict of interest
• Misconduct was not isolated, and, it appears, he acted vindictively and “motivated by animus toward Judicial Watch” (with which he had developed an acrimonious relationship)
• Misconduct was intentional rather than inadvertent or innocent
• Misconduct involved Larry’s switching of sides that strikes at the integrity of the legal profession

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeal punished Latif by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Larry fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.larryklayman.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
