Attorney Archie Rich II of DC; moronic slacker

The District of Columbia presented Archie L. Rich II with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law. Archie also received a license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1994.

The DC Bar Counsel found Archie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Archie!)
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to represent his client zealously
• Failed to promptly pay parties funds they were entitled to receive
• Failed to assure that paralegal’s conduct compatible with Rules of Professional Conduct
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to explain matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit his client to make informed decisions about the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeal punished Latif by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year term of probation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the DC Court of Appeal didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Archie.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Archie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.richinjuryfirm.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
