Attorney Michael Wilson of DC; ethical gnome

The District of Columbia presented Michael M. Wilson with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Florida State University School of Law.

The DC Bar Counsel found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to consult with clients about settlement
• Failed to keep client informed about status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to explain the status of the matter necessary to allow the client to make informed decisions
• Represented clients when the representation was adversely affected by representation of another client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeal punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Mikey practices his brand of law at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
