Attorney Anthony Tavitas of Munster, IN; ethical troll
The state of Indiana provided Anthony F. Tavitas with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.
The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Tony guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

-
Failed to maintain and preserve complete records of client trust account funds
-
Failed to deliver promptly to a client funds the client is entitled to receive
-
Failed to keep a deposit and disbursement journal containing a record of deposits to and withdrawals from an attorney trust account
-
Failed to maintain relevant fee agreements
-
Failed to keep reconciliation reports for a trust account
-
Failed to reconcile internal trust account records with periodic bank account statements
-
Improperly made cash withdrawals and electronic disbursements from a trust account
-
Paid personal or business expenses directly from a trust account
-
Failed to promptly withdraw fully earned fees from a trust account
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. August 2020), Tony practices at 900 Ridge Road in Munster, Indiana.
