Donald “Trumporleone” Trump: Today’s “Puke Bag Liar” Award Winner

This isn’t the first award presented to The Great Leader. In the past he has been the subject of 534 awards, 111 opinion pieces and 85 laments. For a list of the prior awards and/or articles, see the items detailed at the end of this article.

In his ongoing sham attempt to downplay the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, The Great Leader decided to tell a few more lies during his so-called July 4^th DC celebration.

Towards that end, The Great Leader made the following laughable and false comments even though the daily number of new Coronavirus cases has hit new daily records exceeding 50,000.

• “And we’ve made a lot of progress, our strategy is moving along well.”
• “It goes out in one area; it rears out its ugly face in another area.”
• “But we’ve learned a lot. We’ve learned how to put out the flame.”
• “We have the most and finest testing in the world.”

The testing is not the finest in the world by any stretch of the imagination. The Great Leader’s claim of making “a lot of progress” is patently false.

Let’s take a minute and review The Great Leader’s comments prior to his July 4^th falsehoods.

01/22/20: 1 confirmed U.S. case

"We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It's going to be just fine."

02/23/200: 51 confirmed U.S. cases

"We're very much involved. We're very — very cognizant of everything going on.  We have it very much under control in this country."

02/26/00: 58 confirmed U.S. cases

“And, so far, if you look at what we have with the 15 people and their recovery, one is — one is pretty sick but hopefully will recover, but the others are in great shape.”

“And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done.”

02/29/00: 74 confirmed U.S. cases

“And we've done a great job. And everything is under control.”

“We've taken the most aggressive actions to confront the coronavirus. They are the most aggressive taken by any country.”

03/06/20: 402 confirmed U.S. cases

“Anybody that wants a test can get a test.”

“The tests are all perfect, like the letter was perfect, right?”

03/10/00: 1,300 confirmed U.S. cases

“And we're prepared, and we're doing a great job with it.”

As we speak (ca. July 4, 2020), there are 2,895,939 confirmed Coronavirus cases and 131,777 deaths. Worldwide there are 11,187,193 cases with 528,364 deaths. This means the U.S. of A. accounts for nearly 25% of all cases in the world and 25% of all deaths. Does this sound like “we’re doing a great job” to you?
