Solicitor Oisin Murphy of Dublin, Ireland; ethical misfit

The Law Society of Ireland presented Oisin Murphy with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Queen’s University School of Law.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Oisin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to ensure that thre was furnished to the Law Society an account’s report as required by the Solictors Accounts Regulations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Oisin by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment, a fine of £2,000 and investigative costs of £760.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Oisin practices with Barry G. O'Meara & Co. Solicitors at Pembroke House on Pembroke Street in Cork, Ireland.
