Judge Jamie Imboden of Kelso, WA; drunken loser

The state of Washington provided Jamie Imbolden with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Cornell guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Kelso officer stopped Jamie five minutes before midnight
  • The office was dispatched to a report of a black convertible headed eastbound over the Allen Street bridge
  • A 911 caller reported the convertible was driving erratically at high speed, ran a red light and nearly hit other vehicles
  • Jamie denied having anything to drink when he was pulled over in the 2400 block of Allen Street
  • Jamie told the officer that the car’s owner, a former legal client who was sitting in the passenger’s seat, had been drinking instead of him
  • The officer reported that Jamie’s movements were slow and uncoordinated, his eyes were bloodshot and watery, and the car smelled of intoxicants
  • Jamieconsented to a field sobriety test, during which the officer smelled intoxicants on his breath
  • Jamie was arrested on suspicion of DUI, but declined to give a voluntary breath sample at the police station and was cited and released to his wife

After the arrest, Jamie had the chutzpah to make the following laughable statement.

  • “I look forward to having my day in court, presenting my witnesses, and being vindicated” he said.
  • “I believe in and trust the legal process and anticipate a just result.”

Jamie surely missed his calling as a Standup Comedian by spewing forth said statements.

All that remains now is to see how long it takes for Jamie to cop a plea in order to reduce the amount of time he may have to spend in jail.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Jamie continues to sit as a Cowlitz County District Court judge when sober in Kelso, Washington.
