Attorney Ronald Sperry III of Roseburg, OR; ethical ogre 

The State of Oregon presented Ronald Sperry III with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

FYI: Williamette University School of Law is ranked as the 178^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools

The Disciplinary Counsel found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to abide by client decisions
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to explain matters to the extent reasonably necessary to permit his client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to file objection regarding guardianship matter despite client demand he so act
• Failed to advise client he had not filed objection regarding guardianship matter
• Agreed with entry of court order reflecting settlement with conservator without the client’s prior approval of the precise terms of the settlement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Ronnie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.douglascountylaw.com. Apparently, Ronnie decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.
