Attorney J. Albert Tinampay of the Philippines; moronic slacker

The Philippine Supreme Court provided J. Albert Tinampay with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Albert guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Failed in duty to and responsibility in safeguarding client’s interest
  • Failed to appear on client’s behalf at pretrial hearing
  • Failed to serve his client with competence (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Albert by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and issued a stern warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

Also ordered to return the amounts P121,000.00 and $950.00 plus 6% interest through the time paid in full to his victims.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Albert practices in Tagbilaran City, Philippines.
