The Law Society presented Musharaf Javid Asharaf with a law license in 1994.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Musharaf guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misled [lied] to clients in litigation cases by preparing invoices which did not accurately reflect the costs recovered from the other side
• By using costs recovered on behalf of some clients for the benefit of other clients, misled his firm as to the true financial position of his case-holdings

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Musharaf by gifting him with a complimentary fine of £5,000 (US $6,110.48) and ordered to pay costs of £17,200 (US $21,020.05).
