Solicitor Peter Sanders of New Zealand; slacker

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Peter Sanders with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Auckland Law School.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Delayed in registering a lasting power of attorney with the donor’s banks
  • Failed to prepare an inventory of the donor’s belongings
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary rebuke and a fine of £750 ($455.00).

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Pete practices with Sanders Solicitors at 18-20 Broadway in Rainham, Essex, New Zealand.
