Attorney Lorraine Schneider of Glendive, MT; ethical goblin

The state of Montana presented Lorraine A. Schneider with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Lorrie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep proper records concerning her clients' retainers
• Failed to promptly deliver funds to which clients and/or third parties were entitled
• Failed to take steps to the extent reasonably practicable to protect her clients' interests by returning unearned fees
• Failed to maintain an IOLTA account in accordance with the trust Account Maintenance and Audit Requirements)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Lorraine by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.  

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Lorraine practices at 122 West Bell in Glendive, Montana.
