Attorney Paige Young of Springdale, AR; slacker, serial offender

The state of Arkansas provided Paige Evans Young with law license in 1999 after she graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Paige guilty of the following misconduct.

Paige’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to comply with annual Continuing Legal Education Requirements (CLE)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Summer by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

Paige’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to keep elderly client apprised of status of estate matter

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Summer by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Paige’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to perform paid for estate planning services on behalf of 83-year-old client
• Promised client she would reimburse fees for services she did not provide, but waited almost four years before keeping good on her promise
• Failed to abide by client decisions concerning objectives of the representation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Summer by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

Paige’s 4^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to comply with annual Continuing Legal Education Requirements (CLE)
• Failed to pay mandatory annual state attorney dues

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Summer by gifting her with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Paige practices at 4100 Wagon Wheel Road in Springdale, Arkansas.
