Attorney Sonya Armfield of DC; ethical dwarf

The District of Columbia Bar presented Sonya N. Armfield with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from Howard University School of Law

The DC Bar Counsel found Sonya guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in communication with a person she knew to be represented by counsel
• Failed to obtain permission from counsel for represented person prior to communicating with said person

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Sonya by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As one would suspect, Sonya fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.sonyaarmfield.brandyourself.com.  Apparently, she decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that she would not limit her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Sonya practices with the Armfield Law Firm at 2 Massachusetts Avenue NE in Washington, DC.
