Utah’s 2019 Ivory Soap Ratings for Attorneys = 99.6%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the Utah legal system, there are 8,285 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court handed out the following complimentary sanctions against thirty (30) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • 5 = number of admonitions
  • 7 = number of reprimands
  • 8 = number of suspensions
  • 1 = number of disbarments
  • 4 = number of terms of probation
  • 5 = resignation with discipline pending

This laughable finding by the comedians sitting on the Utah Supreme Court means that Utah’s 99.56% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2019 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 8,285 attorneys attended a basketball games at Utah State University’s Dee Glen Smith Spectrum arena with a seating capacity of 10,270, it’d be nearly impossible to locate the thirty (30)  unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.

Gosh and Gollies and Gee Whillickers, you folks in Utah are quite fortunate to live in a state where almost 100% of your attorneys are Ethical and/or Intellectual Giants.

And lastly, Utahans have the members of Utah Supreme Court to thank for taking affirmative and appropriate steps to protect you and yours from unethical and/or incompetent attorneys.
