Judge Kurt Kissinger of Cincinnati, OH; moron

The state of Ohio provided Curtis Edward Kissinger with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law.

FYI: University of Dayton School of Law is ranked as the 171^st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

It should be noted that Former Gov John Kasich was duped into appointing Kurt as a Hamilton County Municipal Court judge in 2015. Kurt didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Cincinnati area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Judge Kissinger was assigned to preside over an auto accident case involving Michael Bryant who was found guilty by Kissing of leaving the scene of the accident.

Subsequently, Mr. Bryant appealed Judge Kissinger’s asinine leaving the scene of the accident conviction to the First District Court of Appeals, which in its infinite ignorance upheld Kissinger’s absurd conviction.  In a majority decision reversing the conviction, the appellate court said the following.

Mr. Bryant and his attorney then appealed the ridiculous ruling from the First District Court of Appeals to the Ohio Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court reversed both Kissinger and the First District Court of Appeals and in doing so said in part.

“Ohio law does not require all motor vehicle accidents be reported to police, and the current statute is unclear how long a driver must wait when a police officer is not at the scene of the accident.”

Of course, Judge Kissinger doesn’t much give a damn how many times his asinine rulings are reversed by appellate courts since he’s aware that no judge in Ohio has ever been removed from the bench for being a moron.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Kissinger continues to sit as a Hamilton County Municipal Court judge in Cincinnati, Ohio.
