Attorney Mark Gould of Ogden, UT; lying loser

The State of Utah provided Mark H. Gould with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Lied to client he had filed arbitration on client’s behalf when he had not done so
• Failed to correct his lie to his client nor did he commence arbitration process after he lied to the client that he had so acted

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
