Attorney Paul Remy of Roy, UT; idiotic thief

The State of Utah provided Paul R. Remy with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

FYI: Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to decline /terminate representation when required to so act
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Charged client for office visit that was cancelled (crook)
• Failed to provide client with status updates
• Filed motion to dismiss opposing counsel’s motion to modify custody and to appoint a custody evaluation, but Paulie never filed a memorandum in support of the motion to dismiss
• Failed to appear at court-scheduled hearing on client’s behalf
• Billed his client for traveling to and appearing at a hearing that he never appeared for (thief)
• Failed to return client phone calls or emails
• Client requested his file several times but Paulie failed to give it to him
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paulie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Paulie practices the Remy Law Offices PC at 4879 South 1900 West in Roy, Utah.
