Attorney Gwendolyn Shotwell of Englewood, CO; serial drunken felon

The State of Colorado provided Gwendolyn Shotwell with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from South Methodist University (SMU) School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Gwen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to a fourth-degree felony charge of driving under the influence with three priors
• Pled guilty to misdemeanor count of driving under the influence
• Committed a crime adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

Gwen served 90 days in the Denver County Jail RISE programd and completed 160 hours of conseling. 

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Gwen by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Gwen. 

As we speak, (ca. January 2024), Gwen practices with Shotwell Law LLC at 3171 South Emerson Street in Englewood, Colorado.
