Attorney Marie Bernal of Edgewater, CO; ethical goblin  

The State of Colorado provided Marie Bernal with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Marie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Marie!)
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation under rules of a tribunal
• Failed to take steps to protect client interests upon termination

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Marie by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Marie practices with the Bernal Justice Center LLC in Edgewater, Colorado.
