Attorney Raymund Capelovitch of Clayton, MO; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Raymund Jared Capelovitch with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law. The state of Missouri provided Ray with a law license in 1991.

The Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Ray guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Misrepresented [lied] to a client the length of time it would take to settle two workers’ compensation claims
  • Failed to deliver $5,665.24 in settlement funds to his client, and failed to respond to requests for information from the Missouri disciplinary authorities
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Ray!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Ray by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Ray practices with Capelovitch Law LLC at 7710 Carondelet Avenue in Clayton, Missouri.

CAUTION: Ray does not carry legal malpractice insurance
