The state of Tennessee provided Lewis Lyman Laska with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Lewis guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another 8.4a
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Improperly sought discover from nonparty via issuance of a subpoena
  • Falsely advised one subpoenaed person he could face jail if he failed to comply with the improperly issued subpoena
  • Engaged in harassing conduct against nonparties
  • Threatened to file disciplinary case against attorney to gain advantage in civil litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Lewis by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Lewis practices at 1700 Neelys Bend Road in Madison, Tennessee.
