Attorney Scott Johannessen of Nashville, TN; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Scott David Johannessen with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Scotty’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to pay annual professional privilege tax for two or more years
  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Scotty’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act in best interests of former clients
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Scotty practices at 424 Church Street in Nashville, Tennessee.
