Attorney William Conroy of Berwyn, PA; cheerleader for serial convicted drunks

The state of Pennsylvania presented William J. Conroy with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from Temple University School of Law.

In one matter, Billy decided to act as a character witness for attorney Robert Toland II who is serial drunken convict who has been arrested and convicted of driving under the influence five (5) times. The last conviction led to him being sentenced to 14 to 36 months in prison. For additional information dealing with Mr. Toland, go to the URL listed at the end of this article.

Billy had the chutzpah to give the following character witness testimony in support of Toland’s successful application to have his law license reinstated.

  • Testified Bobby has the qualifications and competency and learning to be reinstated
  • Reinstatement of Bobby would not be detrimental to the bar or subversive of the public interest

Yeah, I suppose one could reasonably conclude that Mr. Toland is a competent drunk.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Billy practices with Campbell Conroy & O’Neil at 1205 Westlakes Drive in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
