Attorney Eli Cherkasky of New York City; convicted woman beater

The State of New York provided Eli Karl Cherkasky with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Georgetown School of Law.

A New York Appeals Court Disciplinary Panel found Eli guilty of the following misconduct.

• Convicted of getting into physical fight with a woman at a bar
• Knocked the woman against a railing, tackled her to the floor, kneeled on top of her, grabbed her neck and struck her in the face

As a direct result of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Panel punished Eli by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Eli and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.exiger.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.
