Attorney Kristina Reeves of Mesa, AZ; ethical goblin
The state of Indiana presented Scott A. Adams with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Chicago School of Law.
The Arizona State Bar found Kristy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
In one matter, Kristina applied for appointment to the Arizona Court of Appeals. In her personal statement of why she wanted to be a judge, she plagiarized from speeches U.S. Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Alito made during their U.S. Senate confirmation hearings. When her conduct was reported in the news media Kristina withdrew her application.
Furthermore, Kristina knowingly violated her duties to the legal profession and the public, and she caused actual harm to both.
As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kristy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
As one would suspect, Kristy and her firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.gillespieshields.com. Apparently, Kristy and the firm decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that they would not limit their future victim pool.
As we speak (ca. February 2020), Christa practices with GillespieShields Goldfarb & Taylor at 1630 South Stapley Drive in Mesa, Arizona.
