Attorney Abraham Hobson III of Norristown, PA; convicted fraudster

The state Pennsylvania presented Abraham Hobson III with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from California Western University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Abe guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Participated in a fraudulent timeshare scheme whereby he would solicit buyers that had no intention of keeping their units
• Induced timeshare buyers by offering them 5% commission in order that the developer could obtain financing for the project
• Pled guilty in federal court to one count of making false statement to federal agency
• Pled guilty in federal court to one count of making false statement to federal deposit corporation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Abe by gifting him a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Abe practices at 2737 Lantern Lane in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
