Attorney Heather Burns of Lombard, IL; greedy loser

The state of Illinois presented Heather Burns with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Heather guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Heather engaged in an egregious conflict of interest when she accepted $90,000 in gifts from an elderly client.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Heather by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.
