Attorney Cari Nolan of Mesa, AZ; ethical goblin

The state of Arizona presented Cari McConeghy Nolan with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from Arizona State University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Cari guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Divulged client confidences
  • Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to so act
  • Brought forward of defended a proceeding, or asserted or controverted an issue without a good faith basis in law for doing so
  • Pursued frivolous [BS] actions
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden any other person

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Cari by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Cary failed to mention the above misconduct on her self-serving website at www.nolandefenseattorneys.com. Apparently, she and her husband Todd chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Cari practices with The Nolan Law Firm at 1744 South Val Vista Drive in Mesa, Arizona.
