Former Judge Thomas Bornholdt of Olathe, KS; ethical ogre

The Kansas Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Brendon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated defendant’s right to a fair trial (due process)
  • Failed to be patient and dignified when dealing parties appearing before him
  • Failed to perform judicial duties without bias or prejudice
  • Failed to afford everyone who had a legal interest in a proceeding, or that person’s attorney, the right to be heard according to law (due process)
  • Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary
  • Failed to maintain and enforce high standards of conduct
  • Made highly questionable and inappropriate comments during a jury trial

Apparently Tommy is of the opinion that the term “due process” means the manner by which the grass becomes moist in the am.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Kansas Commission on Judicial Conduct punished Brendon by issuing a cease and desist order. Hear tell that this type of order can be right painful!

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Tommy practices his brand of law at 16652 West 14th Street in Olathe, Kansas.
