The state of Louisiana provided Jefferson D. Hughes with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

FYI:   The   Nashville School of Law is dedicated to taking in losers that could not get accepted into schools such as the University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt or the University of Memphis. In fact, the Nashville School isn’t even accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct is investigating Aaron for engaging in the following misconduct.

Government travel records show that Judge Holt was in Costa Rica at the same time as former judge Cason “Casey” Moreland, who’s now in prison for corruption charges. (The Tennessean.com)

Judge Moreland told federal prosecutors that Nashville judges and attorneys traveled with him, hired prostitutes and used marijuana. Prosecutors say the trips created “an atmosphere of cronyism and favoritism” in Moreland’s court.

Federal prosecutors stated that “all of the attendees possessed compromising information on Moreland, as he did on them.” The prosecutors went on to call it an “old-boys-club environment,” and said it violated the Tennessee Code of Judicial Conduct.

The enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct had the chutzpah to tell reporters for the Tennessean that they investigated the complaints and that “appropriate disciplinary action has been taken.” Yeah, I bet it was! Maybe they offered Aaron an all paid two-week vacation to Aruba.

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Aaron continues to sit as a Davidson County General Sessions Court judge in Nashville, Tennessee.
