Judge Lori Maret of Lincoln, NE; incompetent boob

The state of Nebraska provided Rena Hughes with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Law.

It should be noted that former Gov. Dave Heineman appointed Loria as a District Court judge in 2014. Lori didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Lincoln area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

FYI: Since receiving her law license in 1995, Lori has had her snout firmly implanted in the public trough for twenty-one (21) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Lincoln area was about to offer her a good paying job.

A 2019 statewide attorney evaluation for sitting judges in Nebraska determined that Lori is a Certified Loser. In fact, her ratings are as follows.

• Legal Analysis = 2.87 = Deficient rating
• Impartiality = = 2.94 = Deficient rating
• Judicial Temperament = 2.71 = Deficient rating
• Judicial Demeanor = 2.71 = Deficient rating

Unfortunately, the voters in Lancaster County will not have an opportunity to tell Lori to take a hike until the next election when she comes up for retention in 2020.

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Lori the Loser continues to sit as a Lancaster District Court judge in Lincoln, Nebraska.
