Attorney Ismail Mohammed of Boston; ethical troll

The state of Massachusetts presented Ismail Mohammed with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Ismail guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client’s immigration matter
• Made misrepresentations on annual registration statement that he was maintaining malpractice insurance and IOLTA trust account
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to provide a client with a written statement describing the scope of the representation and the nature of the fee arrangement
• Failed to adequately communicate with his client
• Performed no work of substance on client’s immigration matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Ismail by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Ismail fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his website at www.imbostonimmigation.com.

Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients to assure that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. December 2019) Ismail practices with the Law Offices of Ismail Mohammed at 185 Devonshire Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
