Attorney James Wollrab of Boulder, CO; greedy loser

The state of Colorado provided James C. Wollrab with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in two separate business transactions with his client and friend
• In one transaction, Jimmy drafted for himself a lifetime lease for office space at far below market rates, stripping out all provisions that would have protected his client, the landlord
• In a second transaction, Jimmy drafted an option that gave him the right to purchase a fifty percent stake in a property then worth $3 million for just $200,000.00
• Failed to obtain his client’s written informed consent to his role in the property deal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Jimmy practices with Wollrab and Associates PC at 250 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder, Colorado.
