Attorney Stanley Cohen of Jeffersonville, NY; tax cheat

The state of New York presented Stanley Lewis Cohen with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the Pace University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Stan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to federal tax offenses
• Pled guilty to obstructing and impeding the IRS
• Failed to file federal/state tax returns six (6) consecutive years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Stan by gifting him with a complimentary 30-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Stan practices at 79 Blackberry Lake Road in Jeffersonville, New York.
